On Wednesday, half of our team (Aydan, Andrew, and myself) went to DRI (Desert Research Institute) In Reno.  DRI is where scientists analize climate data from most of the western US.  We sat down in one of their conference rooms, and talked about climate changing and effecting wildfire and we also talked a little about our inovative solution.  Then we went the the ice core lab, where we learned the process the go through to get them and what they do after, and we actually did hold one from Antarctica!  It was really cool, literally since we were in their walk in freezer when we did.  Then we went to their "Cave"  Which is a virtual reality machine in which he can project images on the 3 walls and floor, we put on 3D glasses and he took us on a tour of the firefighting simulation that they use.  Then we went and say their greenhouse, which they use for chunks of land they take from different parts of the world, and keep them at different tempatures and Co2 levels.  And then we left!
